Brown and Grey OOTD

I tend to think everything goes with grey :)
I wear it a lot - its replaced black for me.
Always try to find something interesting to wear it with, today it was brown.

Ponte Knit Jacket - the Limited
Grey Sweater - Loft
Brown Skirt - Loft

Grey and Cream OOTD

Today I will start with the cute ring my daughter gave me. She bought a small lot on ebay, and said this one made me think of her cause its grey :) I do wear lots of grey.

Cardigan - Banana Republic (I paid about $20 during a sale)
Skirt - No 2 Pencil Skirt from Jcrew (this goes on sale for 50% off - alot)
Top - Loft

Pearls and Lace OOTD

Today I wore some fun stuff. Pearls and lace and rhinestones. Hard to see, but the skirt is a burgundy lace overlay on a black bottom layer.

Also, this top is from Ann Taylor, its a business in the front, party in the back mullet tee. That is, the front looks like a blouse, and the back and sleeves are t-shirt material. makes it very comfortable and forgiving. I picked it up for about $9 during one of their 70% off clearance sales.

Lattice Medallion Top and Pencil Skirt

When I first saw the lattice medallion print, I loved it from the start. Guess they figured everyone would -  they used it in many pieces this spring. I thought I would get the skirt, but I didn't love the fabrication in person, so I passed. When the popover went on sale I grabbed it though, and its a winner! :)  Its light and breezy and soft.

If you are a curvy girl, the Sloan skirt at Banana Republic is a great fit! I do not recommend the Sloan pants however.

The pink in it was kind of bluish, so I wore it with a lavender cardigan from the Loft.

Springtime for Leopards

With spring in the air, I was really in the mood to wear some cute pumps, so I pulled out my trusty Talbots's calf hair leopard pumps from a couple years ago.

Mixed tape cardigan and perfect fit tee (large) from J-Crew
Black pants from Talbots (size 16)  - not as long lasting as the shoes :-/
Leopard Pumps from Talbots
Necklace from Ann Taylor Loft

OOTD = Pencil Skirt and Sweater

And another No. 2 Pencil Skirt from J. Crew. The sheen on these is just so pretty :)

So, blouse, sweater and necklace from Loft, Skirt from J. Crew
Boots same as yesterday. Was so cold, I decided just wear the boots again.

Here is the close up of the fabric on the JCrew skirt.

St.Patricks Day Outfit

Hello! Here is what I wore on St. Patrick's Day.

So I have pretty much fallen in love with the No. 2 Pencil Skirt from J Crew. I am surprised, because their stuff hasn't always fit me. At all.

But I bought one of these when they were on sale + extra clearance, got it home and added two more almost immediately - they are some of the nicest skirts I have owned. They sit slightly lower on my waist, but since I am very short waisted, that works for me. No skirt riding up to my bustline today!
Right now there is limited stock / qty, but they are on sale for $50 after the coupon code EXTRA40.

So, skirt is No 2 Pencil Skirt from JCrew, Heather Graphite - I am wearing a size 16 in misses. I could definitely do a 14, but I like how the 16 sat a little better. The blouse and hunter green cardi are both from the Loft, size Medium. Belt is from the Limited. Boots are Franco Sarto Wide Calf from Amazon.

So how are you guys doing? ^__^
