Week's Outfits

Hey everyone. How was the week? Hopefully good. I did a little shopping this weekend, picked up a couple of sweaters from Old Navy, and took advantage of the 50% off markdowns at the Loft. Our weather hasn't quite decided if its fall yet or not, so we have chill mornings and sultry afternoons. Hard to decide what to wear each day. :-/

My daughter is getting fairly excited for Halloween, well, I guess I should say she's getting excited for candy. We don't eat much candy in our home (and none of us have ever had a cavity), so Halloween is candy time around here. I am not a huge fan of spooky /scary stuff, hate scary movies and Haunted Houses, but I have read an eerie book or two in my day. If you are looking for a creepy Halloween book, my two favorite spooky books are: The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, The Wise Woman by Phillipa Gregory (creepy and claustrophobic)

    I miss your daily posts, but I understand the demands of life pull us all away at times. I have been indulging in caramel candy apples, caramel nut cluster pumpkin shaped thingys and candy corn a little too much the past few weeks. I don't get into to Halloween, but my sweet tooth has a hard time saying no (smile).
    I love your outfits, especially the navy and green one. I did buy a pair of paisley print ballet flats from Talbots that I'm just crazy for.....LOVE THEM. Have you ever tried their shoes??? I own a couple pair of their ballet flats and LOVE them. I also dug in my closet and wore a Talbots paisley shirt over the weekend. Their new designs are luring me back.

    Patina - Haha, I feel you - from now through the Christmas the accessibility of sweets just increases. :-)

    And yes, I love Talbots shoes - the ballet flats in the first pic are from Talbots, I think I have 5-6 pairs from there? Maybe more?
