So I bought this sweater, and I didn't like it the first time I wore it, and I am not a fan now. :-/ I am mostly irritated with myself because I didn't love it in the dressing room and bought it anyways. I knew it was too long and not proportioned right for my size, but I really wanted the style in my head. Boo. Bad Bianca.
On a better note, I love this sleeveless blouse! I should have taken my photos without the sweater LOL!

I'm not going to lie - while the sweater lengthens you, I know it's not your preferred style. I love the sleeves on it, though. I'd totally have to find a wide belt and see what it looked like buttoned and cinched. :)
ReplyDeleteI have that same cardi but in the peachy/papaya color. All my cardis have longer sleeves, so I feel awkward in this one. I bought it at the same time as the metallic linen dress that I promptly returned, but thankfully the sweater goes with a few other things.

Have you tried belting it? I bought the same cardi in the light, almost silvery-grey and I like how it looks belted much more than open. You're right about the blouse underneath, though - gorgeous! (And I regret NOT buying it when I saw it in-store last time I was there!)

ReplyDeleteI bought the same sweater...in almost all the colors, but now when I wear them, I feel weird. I think this looks good on you, but I get where you're coming from. Too bad for me, I bought the lighter grey, black, pink, peach, and maybe a white one? too much.
