While I am wishing, I hope each of you has a wonderful, healthy, prosperous 2010!! I think this is going to be the best year ever! (I say that every year.)

Loft 40% off markdowns

Stopped in at the Loft last night. New arrivals for Jan are coming in - a weird mix of nautical winter and resort wear in navys, tans, yellows and greens.

Most of the current stuff we are familiar with is marked down to 19.99-49.99 and now has an additional 40% off online and in stores. All the sweaters (including the one I have with flowers on the shoulder and the bow tee) that were marked down for Black Friday are promo priced for $15 (which means the mailed coupons work on them, unlike the markdowns ending in 9 or 8). If you are an online shopper, sizes and colors will go fast.

Ann Taylor has done some price slashing as well. Their semi-annual sale starts today. Items are marked down 30-70%.

OOTD 12.28.09 - Luck be a lady tonight!

I have had a nice share of luck lately! Its pretty cool because I never, ever win anything. Well, I won 3 things over the past 10 days....1. I won a drawing at Style Symmetry for some beautiful vintage accessories - you will see those soon. 2. I won a Wii at our company holiday party. and 3. I won a drawing in store at Talbots for 3 months of the "scarf of the month club." I should have played the lottery while I was hot. LOL!

Anyhow, here is scarf numero uno - the Roses and Bows Square in Black and Ruby. The colors are super pretty, its Ruby Red, Black, Pewter and Light Pewter/Gray.

Christmas Tea

We went to a Christmas Tea at the Ritz-Carlton in Buckhead on the 23rd. They had activities for the kids, and excerpts of the Nutcracker Suite performed by members of the Atlanta Ballet...it was a lot of fun. And YUMMY!

Fashion Bug - There are some sales etc going on, but I wanted to note the $15 Right Fit jeans. I bought a few pairs of these from lane Bryant for $50...not sure if these are exactly the same, but migt be worth a try for the special $15.00 weekly special price.

e.l.f - the $1 (mostly) cosmetic site. Is offering free primer or HD powder with $10 purchases. Code NEWYOU. These two items along with their studio brushes are supposed to be very good. I have heard mixed things about the actual makeup, so I would check for online reviews for any items you are interested in.

Korres - Korres has the creamiest eyeshadows and best lip conditioners. With code Temptalia - get 30% off, and the item I chose had free shipping too..I don't know if it was the item I picked, or if the free ship applies to any size order. If you like Korres, its def worth a try!

Kohls - Kohls has a bunch of stuff on sale. I know alot of people like their jewelry and cosmetics. Use coupon codes "EXTRA20" and "NOCHARGE" for an extra 20% off and free shipping on all items, respectively. (they allow 2 coupons at a time)

Sephora has 20% off sale items with code EXTRA. This started a while back, and is good through Dec 31, but there seems to be plenty available.

Talbots - Red Hanger sale. If you have been eyeing something thats getting limited, its a good time to get it.

Also, don't forget to shop through ebates (or any another rebate site). I have earned a few hundred dollars in cash back since 5/15/08. I used to get a check, but now, get the cash deposited to paypal. (I have a paypal debit card that I use online so that I don't actually put my real CC info out anywhere online.) Its free money, so do eet. :-) There is also Mr. Rebates and Bing Cashback..sometimes Bing offers ridiculous amounts of cashback (like 30% upwards?!!?) but you just kinds have to be in the right place at the right time to find those...

Happy Holiday everyone! I have started my vacation week - visiting family etc! So, its pretty casual for the next week or so - hopefully not too boring for you guys.
