I had to take back some of the items from the two sales I posted about last week - 2 items were too large and one was too small. While I was in the store, I traded out for the items above. I have eyed the brown top on the left for about a month, since all items in the store were 20% off, and I don't see any sign of it going on clearance, I grabbed it today.

Since I can't wear yellow too well, even though I love it, I am hoping that some of these splashes thrown in with other colors will do well. I really hope I get the cardigan. When I went back online after purchasing, it looks like its sold out in my size. (eek) Guess we will see if I get the cancellation email.

My jeans are another item that I think I have the cost per wear down. Sometimes the $50+ items are well worth it if you are going to wear them often! :-)
Clearance at Talbots
So, after my weekend mini-spree, I log-on to see that Talbots has reduced a bunch of prices in their outlet, so I picked up a couple of solid wardrobe pieces, that I can mix and match into what I already have:
Indigo Cross Dyed Blazer - $13.25
Safari Style Tunic (in White) -$11.00
U-neck 3/4 sleeve striped tee (in Daffodil/White) $7.50
Stretch Denim Blazer (in Sand Dollar) $16.50
One of the things I love about Talbots is being able to find clothes that is properly fitted for petites, from the jackets to the tees to the pants. Its nice to have a shoulder seam line up with my shoulder.
